Database of BESSI Trials

We aim to provide a list of BESSI trials and links to registry data, protocols, preprints or publications. The protocols may be used or adapted to help with synthesis of current research and replication, or additional primary research.  The trials found in the data base are identified through 1) searches of Epistemonikos COVID-19 L.OVE using the 'Prevention or Treatment', 'BESSI' filters, selecting 'Primary studies' and applying the 'RCT and 'ALL' filters and 2) by colleagues interested in BESSI research. Randomised trials reporting the effect of BESS interventions on SARS-CoV- 2 transmission or behaviours that may impact the acquisition or spread of SARS-CoV-2 are included in the database.  
Note: A core outcomes set for prevention of COVID-19 transmission is under development.
